Nextpower is seeking a senior electrical engineer to develop detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and interconnection specs for high‑power inverters. You will optimize EMI, layout, and production assembly, collaborating with mechanical and production teams.

Requires a B.E. in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of industrial wiring experience, fluency in Spanish and English, and proficiency with EPLAN Electric P8 (plus EPLAN Pro Panel/SolidWorks Electrical 3D).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Industrial Electronics.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• More than 8 years of experience creating electrical schematics and designing industrial wiring.
• Expert proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8.
• Experience with 3D cable routing modules (EPLAN Pro Panel, SolidWorks Electrical 3D, Inventor Routed Systems) is a plus.
• Familiarity with IEC/UL standards and knowledge of interconnection components.

Responsabilités

• Prepare electrical schematics for power, control, signal, grounding, and protection systems.
• Wiring design and sizing of conductors, terminals, and connectors for high currents and temperatures.
• Define optimal cable routing within the inverter chassis coordinating with mechanical engineers.
• Produce production documentation: cable lists, connection diagrams, crimping tables, BOMs.
• Ensure conformity with electrical safety, creepage/clearance, and EMC standards.
