Amazon is seeking a DCEO Chief Engineer for Data Center Engineering Operations to oversee electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems across AWS data centers. You will drive preventative maintenance, incident response, and large-scale projects while collaborating with engineering, automation, procurement, and finance teams to deliver cost-efficient, reliable infrastructure.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience in data center or critical environments.
• Experience in data center engineering or operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Train and support Engineering team in electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operations.
• Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in data center sites.
• Operate independently with limited direct management.
• Assist in the design and build-out of new facilities.
• Act as escalation point for facilities-related issues within the data center region; support OT hours as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and compile weekly reports.
• Troubleshoot and report facility and data server-level events within SLA.
• Create and deploy standard practices for Engineering Operations Technicians and vendor teams.
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to by vendors and AWS staff.
