The Chef Tours is hiring for a contract, on-site Chef/Guide based in Bangkok. You will lead immersive food tours, share culinary insights and local history, curate exceptional experiences, and collaborate with restaurants and artisans to ensure memorable guests' experiences.

Evening tours suit those seeking extra income and flexibility; this is not a full-time job, requiring excellent English and German and a warm, engaging guiding style.

Formación

Take over existing tours. Our Chef is moving to another city. This is a contract, on-site role for a Chef/Guide, based in Bangkok. The Chef/Guide will lead immersive food tours, sharing culinary insights, local history, and cultural context with tour participants. Additionally, the role includes curating exceptional food experiences, liaising with local restaurants or culinary artisans, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests. The Chef/Guide will also assist with planning and coordinating tour logistics and act as a knowledgeable ambassador of culinary excellence in the region. Evening tours. Perfect for someone working daytime and looking for extra income. This is not a full-time job.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Culinary Arts, including cooking techniques, flavour profiles, and regional cuisines
• Experience in public speaking, storytelling, and guiding groups with a warm, engaging, and personable approach
• Knowledge of local gastronomy, food culture, and landmarks in the assigned region (Germany)
• Strong organisational and time-management skills for planning and executing tours
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in English and German; additional language skills are a plus
• Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to manage dynamic, on-site situations
• Previous experience in food tours, hospitality, or the travel industry is a plus
