Skydance Animation Madrid is seeking a motivated Character Surfacing trainee to join our studio for a paid, on-site internship in Madrid. You will learn to create textures for characters using Substance Designer and Painter, while collaborating with production, art direction, and VFX teams.

Ideal candidates are in their final year of study, have strong 3D animation aptitude, and are proficient in English; Spanish language skills are a plus. The program spans 3 months, full-time, onsite.

Formación

• Must be currently enrolled in final year of an accredited program (Associate, Bachelor, or Master).
• Strong interest in animation and technology.
• On-site internship for 3 months, 35h/week, in Madrid.

Responsabilidades

• Create textures using Substance Designer and existing textures.
• Paint stylized textures following show look.
• Create procedural textures in Substance Designer and apply in Substance Painter or Houdini.
• Collaborate with Production team, Art Director and VFX Supervisor for the desired look.
• Support team members and follow tutor guidance.
