CIDETEC Energy Storage busca un ingeniero para la Unidad de Materiales de Energía. Participarás en el Pilot Plant para implementar nuevos procesos y optimizar la fabricación de electrodos y celdas, con enfoque en transferencias a la industria.

Se valorará experiencia en DOE/SPC, desarrollo de procesos y gestión de proyectos europeos/industriales, con capacidad para coordinar y trabajar en equipo en entornos de I+D y producción.

Formación

• Formación en ingeniería química, mecánica, industrial o similar.
• Conocimientos en ingeniería de procesos: desarrollo, industrialización y optimización.
• Experiencia en DOE y SPC.
• Conocer puesta en marcha de equipos: FAT/SAT.
• Conocimientos en diseño y mantenimiento de maquinaria.
• Manufactura de electrodos y celdas: laminado, soldadura, recubrimiento.
• Calidad: creación de protocolos, registro de productos.
• Experiencia en gestión de proyectos europeos/industriales.

Responsabilidades

• Manufactura de electrodos y celdas: procesamiento de tinta, recubrimiento, apilado, soldadura, llenado.
• Montaje y mantenimiento de maquinaria.
• Diseño de acoplamientos para nueva maquinaria.
• Fabricación de baterías: trazabilidad de materiales.
• Mantener y mejorar la calidad de los sistemas.
• Desarrollar protocolos de calidad y listas de verificación.
• Gestión de proyectos y redacción de propuestas.

CIDETEC Energy Storage is looking for an engineer to join in the Energy Materials Unit. The position will cover the needs of the strategic projects carried out in the cell assembly Pilot Plant. We design and develop cells, modules and battery packs tailored to our customers' needs, with a clear focus on technology transfer to industry. The researcher's work will be related to project management. Your contribution You will form part of a state-of-the-art research centre, geared to sustainability and the circular economy, which has helped electrify Spain's roads and is now working towards 100% future sustainability. The successful candidate will work in the Pilot Plant, implementing new processes and techniques for the manufacture of electrodes and lithium ion cells. For this purpose, he or she must have knowledge in the set-up and maintenance of machinery, and in process development, industrialization and optimization. The successful candidate will work independently according to the defined work plan. He or she will participate in the following tasks: Manufacture of electrodes for batteries and manufacture of cells: Ink processing and knife and slot die coating, electrode stacking, ultrasonic and laser welding, electrolyte filling Maintenance and set-up of machinery. Design of coupling systems for new machinery. Battery manufacturing: keeping records and traceability of materials. Maintain, and work on the quality of the systems. Ensure the quality of the processes carried out in the Pilot Plant, development of quality protocols and check list. Project management. Drafting of project proposals. Salary according to the candidate's merits. Immediate start date. Requirements: Education: Chemical, mechanical, industrial engineering or similar. Languages: English Knowledge: The successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge of and experience in: Process engineering: process development, industrialization and optimization. Experience in DOE and SPC. Set-up and commissioning of new equipment: FAT/SAT. Knowledge of design and maintenance of machinery. Lean manufacturing, 6-sigma and continuous improvement. Manufacturing processes: electrode manufacturing, die cutting, stacking (Z-folding, winding), ultrasonic and laser welding, electrolyte filling, hot pressing. Quality: Create quality protocols, monitor and product registration. Perform troubleshooting activities (8D, Ishikawa), risk analysis (FMEA, HAZOP) and support NCR and CAPA reports. Experience in pouch and/or prismatic cells. Experience leading teams. Experience in European and industrials project management and coordination. Observations: A highly motivated person, with a keen interest in research and innovation, you will join a multidisciplinary team. You will be able to organise your work, meeting both the deadlines and the established objectives. Problem-solving capacity and scientific criteria. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
