PowerCo Battery Spain, S.A.U. in Valencia is seeking an experienced Operations professional to oversee daily production and sub-process areas of cell manufacturing. You will work with process experts to monitor parameters, verify processes, and drive improvements across equipment and workflows.

The role requires 5+ years in battery manufacturing, a relevant engineering degree, and a passion for innovative, sustainable energy. Emphasis on inclusivity and career growth within a dynamic team.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science & Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years experience in the sector.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor daily production and process parameters; identify root causes and resolve issues.
• Collaborate on sub-process areas of cell manufacturing with process experts.
• Support process verification concepts and evaluate input factors and outputs.
• Evaluate equipment capability and set up process parameters.
• Issue working instructions and parameter handbooks for sub processes.
• Execute process verification and DoE; organize machine training.
• Participate in daily shop-floor management and weekly production data reviews.
• Analyze CpK data and contribute to continuous improvement.

The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are starting the ramp up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations mainly take care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

Your role and key responsibilities

• Daily production / process parameter monitoring and finding a root cause of failure & solving issue
• Jointly responsible for sub process(e.g. Mixing, coating, Stacking, Cell baking, injection, etc) of the cell manufacturing with process experts
• Supporting process verification concept for the sub process with technical evaluation of the input factors and output results
• Responsible for evaluation of equipments capability and process parameter set up
• Responsible for issuing the working instruction; parameter handbooks of sub process
• Execution of Process verification and DoE
• Organizing training for machine/equipment operation
• Participation in Daily shop-floor management meeting
• Daily and weekly Tear down analysis and weekly report Production data analysis for CpK improvement

What you bring to the team

• 5 years experience in the sector
• Battery Industry field previous experience is a plus
