Job summary

HBX Group is seeking a Transactional Banking Officer to oversee daily banking and cash operations across the business from our Palma offices. You will monitor cash positions, maintain banking records, and support cash flow forecasting to keep treasury activities running smoothly.

You will collaborate with internal teams and banking partners to maintain strong controls, timely issue resolution, and accurate treasury reporting.

Qualifications

• Has experience in banking operations, treasury, or finance roles.
• Understands cash management and forecasting processes.
• Knows bank account administration and documentation.
• Familiar with treasury or banking systems.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and organization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash balances and ensure funds are available for obligations.
• Assist cash flow forecasting and prepare cash reports.
• Manage banking administration and account documentation.
• Support FX activities and monitor related costs.
• Maintain treasury systems and banking platforms (XRT, GEC, XB Monitor).
• Coordinate with outsourced treasury service providers.
• Maintain register of active bank accounts and signatories.
• Support corporate and virtual card programmes.
• Track bank fees, commissions, and FX charges.
• Prepare monthly cash and treasury reports.
• Monitor workflows, investigate exceptions, and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls.
