Panasonic Europe B.V. (Spain) seeks a Cash & Bank Controller in Barcelona to oversee daily cash positions, forecasts, and liquidity management. You will coordinate payments, bank interfaces, and month-end closing within a multinational finance team.

The role requires treasury-focused education or equivalent experience, strong Excel and SAP S/4HANA skills, and fluency in English. You will drive process improvements, support FX activities, KYC documentation, and treasury reporting with automation

Formación

• Education with a treasury focus or relevant professional experience in a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of MS Excel, SAP S/4HANA and treasury systems Kyriba, FIS, SAP Treasury.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify process or system gaps and drive improvements.
• Understanding of treasury financial instruments, cash flow, FX, banking products, IFRS related to treasury.
• Structured, autonomous working style with a hands-on mindset.
• Fluent in English; additional European language is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts.
• Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, ensuring optimal liquidity and funding.
• Execute payments, manage bank interfaces, and ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain banking documentation and support KYC processes.
• Post treasury-related transactions, support FX deals, hedging, revaluation.
• Assist in month-end closing.
• Ensure compliance with controls and accounting standards, collaborate with finance teams to mitigate financial risks.
• Generate treasury reports, support management and audit with process data and documentation.
• Support TMS and ERP integration, participate in system upgrades, testing, and automation initiatives.

What you will be doing

Cash Management & Forecasting

• Monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts.
• Prepare short‑term and long‑term cash flow forecasts, ensuring optimal liquidity and funding.

Banking Operations

• Execute payments, manage bank interfaces, and ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain banking documentation and support KYC processes.

Treasury Accounting, FX & Risk Management

• Post treasury‑related transactions, support foreign‑exchange operations: FX deals, hedging, revaluation.
• Assist in month‑end closing.
• Ensure compliance with controls and accounting standards, collaborate with finance teams to mitigate financial risks.

Reporting & Automation

• Generate treasury reports, support management and audit with process data and documentation.
• Support TMS and ERP integration, participate in system upgrades, testing, and automation initiatives.

What we are looking for

• Successfully completed education with a focus on treasury or relevant professional experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, SAP S/4HANA and Treasury Management Systems such as Kyriba, FIS, SAP Treasury.
• Strong analytical thinking with ability to recognize process or system deficiencies, propose and drive improvements.
• Understanding of the financial background of Treasury operations: financial instruments, cash flow, FX, banking products, IFRS principles related to Treasury.
• Structured, autonomous working style and a hands‑on mentality.
• Fluent in English (additional European language an asset) and able to work in a multinational, complex matrix organization.
