Hitachi Energy in Spain and the UK is seeking a Business Controller for our Power Consulting teams. You will partner with business leaders to drive performance, support decisions, and enable profitable growth across two countries.

You will manage financial planning, reporting, governance, and business partnering, delivering monthly analyses, budgets, forecasts, and insights to improve efficiency and data quality in a global organization.

Formación

• 3–7 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, accounting, or business finance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders in international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a trusted finance business partner for the Power Consulting teams in the UK and Spain.
• Support strategic decision making through financial analysis and business insights.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans.
• Monitor business performance and identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions.
• Deliver accurate monthly reporting, financial analysis, and performance reviews.
• Drive strong financial governance, compliance, and internal controls.
• Support audits, risk management activities, and balance sheet reviews.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, standardization, and data quality.
