Stark Future SL in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Barcelona, is hiring a Buyer or Senior Buyer to own sourcing for electromechanical components for our high-performance electric motorcycles. You will report to the Electronics & Electromechanics Purchasing Manager and collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain.

We welcome 3+ years (Senior: 7+) of relevant sourcing experience. Fluent English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• 3+ years of sourcing electromechanical components in automotive, motorcycle, e-mobility or similar industries.
• Able to read drawings, specs and BOMs and discuss materials with engineers.
• Knowledge of the global supplier base for harnesses, connectors, motors and sensors (Tier 1/2).
• Strong data-driven negotiator; organized and results-oriented.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus; passion for sustainability; engineering or business degree.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and choose manufacturers for motors, actuators, harnesses, connectors, and charging hardware.
• Run RFIs, RFPs and RFQs; ensure NDAs and Master Purchase Agreements are in place.
• Build should-cost and total-cost-of-ownership models; lead negotiations for cost reductions.
• Cut lead times; manage stock; dual source where risk demands it.
• Support Engineering to select manufacturable parts and qualify alternatives.
• Manage supplier performance, quality issues, and disputes with Quality and Supply Chain.
• Track raw materials and component markets, tech roadmaps, and supply risks.

The Role

Electromechanical parts sit where the mechanics and electronics of our motorcycles meet: motors, actuators, wiring harnesses, connectors, switches, sensors, lighting and charging hardware. We are looking for a Buyer or Senior Buyer to own sourcing for these commodities at Stark HQ in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Barcelona. You will report to the Electronics & Electromechanics Purchasing Manager and work closely with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain.

Open to All Levels

We are hiring at Buyer and Senior Buyer level. As a guide, Buyers bring 3+ years of sourcing experience, and Senior Buyers 7+ years with ownership of a commodity, supplier portfolio or major negotiations. Apply with the experience you have and we will shape the scope around you.

What You’ll Do

• Identify, assess and choose manufacturers for motors, actuators, harnesses, cable assemblies, connectors, switches, relays, sensors, lighting and charging hardware

• Run RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, and make sure NDAs and Master Purchase Agreements are in place

• Build should-cost and total-cost-of-ownership models and lead negotiations to drive continuous cost reduction

• Cut lead times on critical parts, keep stock low without running out, and dual source where risk demands it

• Support Engineering early in design to choose manufacturable, available parts and qualify alternatives

• Manage supplier performance, quality issues and disputes with Quality and Supply Chain

• Track raw material (copper, magnets, plastics) and component markets, technology roadmaps and supply risks

What You Will Bring

• 3+ years of sourcing electromechanical components in automotive, motorcycle, e-mobility or similar industries (7+ for Senior Buyer)

• Comfortable reading drawings, specifications and BOMs, and discussing materials, processes and tolerances with engineers

• Knowledge of the global supplier base for harnesses, connectors, motors and sensors (Tier 1 and Tier 2)

• A strong, data-driven negotiator who is organised and results-oriented

• Passion for sustainability, and a degree in engineering or business administration

• Fluent English is a must; Spanish is a plus
