Stark Future SL in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Barcelona, is seeking a Buyer or Senior Buyer to source high-performance mechanical parts and assemblies, aiming for cost, quality, and timely delivery.

You will report to the Mechanical Purchasing Manager and collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain, traveling to events when needed.

The role offers growth in a fast-moving startup focused on sustainable motorcycles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sourcing for automotive or high-performance machinery.
• Senior Buyer: 7+ years with ownership of a commodity or major negotiations.
• Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of global mechanical supplier landscape.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple streams in a fast-growing environment.
• Passion for sustainability.

Responsabilités

• Identify and choose world-class manufacturers for mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Own RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, and ensure NDAs and Master Purchase Agreements are in place.
• Lead price negotiations and drive cost reduction.
• Reduce lead times and keep stock low without running out.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance and dispute resolution.
• Track market conditions and technology roadmaps to spot risks and opportunities.
• Lead vendor selection with Engineering following Lean and Just-in-Time.
• Travel when needed, including to key racing events.

The Role

We are looking for a Buyer or Senior Buyer to join our Mechanical purchasing team at Stark HQ in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Barcelona. You will source high-performance mechanical parts, vehicle components and technical assemblies, hitting demanding cost, quality and delivery targets. You will report to the Mechanical Purchasing Manager and work closely with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain.

We are hiring at Buyer and Senior Buyer level. As a guide, Buyers bring 3+ years of sourcing experience, and Senior Buyers 7+ years with ownership of a commodity, supplier portfolio or major negotiations. Apply with the experience you have and we will shape the scope around you.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and choose world-class manufacturers for mechanical components and subassemblies

• Own RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, and make sure NDAs and Master Purchase Agreements are in place

• Lead price negotiations and drive continual cost reduction and supplier consolidation

• Reduce lead times for critical parts and keep stock low without ever running out

• Manage supplier relationships, performance and dispute resolution

• Track market conditions and technology roadmaps to spot risks and opportunities

• Lead vendor selection with Engineering, following our Lean and Just-in-Time approach

• Travel when needed, including to key racing events

What You Will Bring

• 3+ years of sourcing in automotive or high-performance machinery (7+ for Senior Buyer)

• Knowledge of the global mechanical supplier landscape (Tier 1 and Tier 2)

• Analytical, organised and data-driven, with strong negotiation and influencing skills

• Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-growing environment

• Passion for sustainability

• Degree in engineering or business administration

• Fluent English is a must; Spanish is a plus
