EIC (Experience Internship Canada) seeks a motivated Law Intern in Barcelona to contribute to contracts and legal advisory. You will perform legal research, draft memos, and support contract reviewing under supervision in an international environment.

The role emphasizes practical learning, with supervisor guidance and potential for longer-term opportunities in a dynamic legal and business setting.

Qualifications

You are studying law with an interest in business or contract law.
You understand legal research methods and memo writing.
You pay attention to the relevant jurisdiction and can identify the limits of an analysis.
You work discreetly and respect approval procedures.
You are comfortable communicating in English; French is an asset for collaboration.

Responsibilities

Legal research: research business law questions raised by the teams.
Contracts: help prepare and review drafts under supervision.
Summaries: draft memos outlining applicable provisions and points requiring review.
Monitoring: track developments relevant to business activities and contractual relationships.
Organization: maintain records and track versions, deadlines and approvals.
Coordination: prepare discussions with external counsel and gather supporting documents.
Issue spotting: identify contractual points of concern and refer them to the appropriate supervisor.
Internal guidance: contribute to approved practical resources that help teams carry out their work.
