Amaris Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst – Retail & POS Systems to bridge business needs with technology, drive process optimization, and support project delivery in a global, agile environment. You will work with stakeholders across business and IT to define requirements and craft effective solutions.

You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, document processes, and help integrate retail, POS, and ERP systems while leveraging industry best practices and modern tech

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally in retail/consumer goods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and IT teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements with stakeholders.
• Analyze existing processes and systems to identify optimization and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Act as a liaison between business teams and IT to ensure alignment and clear communication.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Expert, or in a similar role, ideally within the retail or consumer goods industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, collaborating effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Experience in business process analysis, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Nice to have: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly Commerce POS and Finance & Operations modules.
• Nice to have: Understanding of POS and ERP systems, including their integration with physical retail operations, e-commerce, and marketing platforms.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of retail operations, global compliance requirements, and Finance or Supply Chain processes.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.
• Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
• Act as a key liaison between business teams and IT, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, evaluate, and implement business and technology solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive functional documentation, business process mappings, and solution recommendations.
• Support project managers in defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Assess the feasibility, benefits, and potential risks of proposed solutions to support informed decision-making.
• Contribute to the successful integration and improvement of business systems, particularly within retail, POS, and ERP environments.
