adm Indicia in Barcelona is seeking a Business Analyst to connect business needs with data and technology solutions across internal stakeholders and clients. You will gather and translate requirements, map processes and help deliver BI initiatives, reporting, data transformation and process improvements.

This role is based in our Barcelona office with 1–2 days per week on site, offering a collaborative environment in a growing analytics function.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data/analytics/tech transformation.
• Ability to gather, analyse and document requirements for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience mapping business processes and identifying operational improvements.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills for data-driven decision-making.
• Experience using Jira and producing high-quality project documentation.
• Exposure to SQL, Snowflake, Power BI or similar BI technologies.

About the Role: As a Business Analyst at adm Indicia, you will play a pivotal role in connecting business needs with data and technology solutions. Working closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and occasionally clients, you'll gather and translate requirements, map business processes, and help deliver solutions that drive efficiency, consistency, and business value across a diverse client portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing data and analytics function, supporting initiatives across business intelligence, reporting, data transformation, and process improvement. We're looking for a proactive, curious, and confident self-starter who thrives on solving problems, building relationships, and bringing structure to complex challenges.

This role is based in our Barcelona office 1 - 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of analytical initiatives from discovery through to delivery, identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive business value.


• Gather, analyse and document business requirements, ensuring they are clear, accurate and aligned to project objectives.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to define solutions and document requirements through Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including user stories, epics, feature sets, BRDs and functional specifications.


• Lead workshops, brainstorming sessions and requirements gathering activities to understand business challenges and identify effective solutions.


• Map and analyse existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies and recommending data-driven improvements.


• Develop future-state process documentation and support the design of new systems and enhancements to existing solutions.


• Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable deliverables.


• Support project delivery activities including solution estimation, UAT, defect management and stakeholder communications.


• Perform data analysis using BI tools and Excel to identify trends, insights and key performance drivers.


• Contribute to the standardisation of processes, metrics and ways of working across clients and business functions.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a data, analytics, technology or business transformation environment.


• Strong experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Demonstrable experience mapping business processes and identifying opportunities for operational improvement.


• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including user stories, epics, backlog management and stakeholder collaboration.


• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage, challenge and influence colleagues at all levels.


• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through ambiguity to deliver outcomes.


• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with data to support business decision-making.


• Experience using Jira and producing high-quality project and requirements documentation.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and translate complex concepts into clear business language.


• Exposure to SQL, Snowflake, Power BI or similar BI and data technologies would be advantageous.
