Job summary

MIGx GmbH in Barcelona is seeking a Launch Business Analyst - Biotech to define what Medical and Commercial teams need for a successful product launch. You will translate requirements into Vault CRM and analytics platform configurations, focusing on regulatory and compliance boundaries.

Experience with Vault is highly valued. The role requires 3–5 years in pharma/biotech launches, strong process-mapping skills, and fluency in English (B2+).

Qualifications

• Typically 3–5 years as a Business Analyst, commercial/medical operations specialist or consultant in pharma or biotech.
• Hands-on experience supporting at least one launch or launch-readiness programme.
• Knowledge of the biotech operating model and how it differs from large pharma.
• Working understanding of Medical Information, promotional review and approval, commercial excellence/SFE and Field Medical processes.
• Functional understanding of Veeva Vault CRM and the Vault platform.
• Awareness of the compliance boundaries between medical and promotional activity.
• Fluent English (B2+ or above).

Responsibilities

• Define launch-critical capabilities and readiness milestones with Medical and Commercial leads.
• Separate must-have launch scope from post-launch enhancements and track dependencies and risks.
• Fit processes to a lean biotech operating model with small teams and fast decisions.
• Map inquiry intake, triage, response and escalation, including signals for adverse events and product complaints.
• Define requirements for inquiry handling and standard response content in Vault.
• Map the PRC/MLR review and approval process and define requirements for the Vault content workflow.
• Analyze targeting, segmentation, territory alignment, call planning and reporting for the launch field force.
• Specify Vault CRM requirements for account management, approved email, content delivery and activity tracking.
• Define launch KPIs and reporting needed to track field performance.
• Map MSL activities and ensure Vault CRM (Medical) keeps medical and promotional activity separate.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria aligned to Vault standard capabilities.
• Support backlog refinement, UAT and release readiness for launch go-live.
