EQS Group AG in Barcelona seeks a Billing Operations Specialist to join our Billing team. You will own the assigned customer portfolio and manage end-to-end billing activities, from invoice creation to AR monitoring and payment follow-up.

We value accuracy, ownership, and proactive problem-solving as you drive cash collection and improve processes. Ideal candidates have billing/AR experience, strong Excel skills, and comfort with vendor/customer portals in a hybrid Barcelona setting.

Formación

• Experience in billing, Accounts Receivable, collections, finance operations or a comparable role.
• Strong ownership mindset and the ability to follow tasks through to completion.
• High accuracy and attention to detail, especially with financial data and reporting.
• Ability to organize workload, manage priorities and meet deadlines independently.
• Confident and professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Solution-oriented mindset and willingness to investigate issues before escalating them.
• Good Excel skills and confidence with finance systems.
• Ideally experience with ERP systems and customer/vendor portals.

Responsabilidades

• Manage an assigned customer portfolio across billing and collections activities.
• Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on approved billing data.
• Verify customer information, purchase orders and supporting documentation for first-time-right billing.
• Submit invoices through customer/vendor portals and monitor their status.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and identify overdue invoices requiring action.
• Proactively follow up with customers on outstanding payments and expected payment dates.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Customer Success and other internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to reduce rework and improve processes.
