Job summary

The role requires office-based work with rotational shifts to support closing calendars and reporting deadlines. Strong Arabic–English skills, finance knowledge, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional fluency in Arabic and English with business-ready English output.
• Strong experience translating Arabic to English for financial statements and documents.
• Foundational finance knowledge: ledgers, accruals, reconciliations, reporting cycles.
• Two to four years in Arabic-language roles within finance environments.
• Office-based work with rotational shifts and timely task handling.
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, and organized documentation.
• Familiarity with productivity tools and finance systems for document management.

Responsibilities

• Support Arabic language maps for financial data ensuring consistent terminology.
• Translate complex Arabic financial documents into clear English for global stakeholders.
• Interpret spoken Arabic in meetings and summarize in English for reports and knowledge bases.
• Analyze Arabic contracts, policies, statements, and invoices for key financial details.
• Collaborate with finance teams to align mappings with chart of accounts and reporting structures.
• Maintain translation quality by peer reviews and applying finance knowledge to avoid misclassification.
• Document translation decisions and mapping rules for audits and training.
• Provide office-based coverage for time-sensitive translation during rotations.
• Identify risks or discrepancies and coordinate with teams to resolve them.
• Suggest refinements to Arabic mapping frameworks and workflows to improve speed and accuracy.
• Validate translated numbers and account names reflect original intent.
• Communicate translation status and timelines with stakeholders to keep downstream work on track.
• Safeguard confidential financial information following company guidelines.
