Job summary

Making Science, a global digital acceleration company, is seeking a data engineering/BI intern to transform, process and load data from various sources (BigQuery) and deliver insightful dashboards using Looker Studio and Tableau.

You will document data infrastructure, manage data incidents, and analyze requirements across departments. Fluency in English (B2) and strong organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and data transformation workflows.
• Knowledge of dashboard/report creation in BI tools.
• Ability to analyze requirements across departments.
• English at B2 level (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data transformation, processing and loading pipelines from multiple sources (BigQuery).
• Document infrastructure and processes for data extraction from corporate tools (SAP, Atlassian, SuccessFactors, Google Workspace).
• Manage incidents related to business data.
• Analyze requirements from different areas of the company.
• Create reports and dashboards in Tableau and Looker Studio.

We are a corporate department made up of Project Managers with focus on global project management tools, standardization & procedures, processes automation, efficiency programs, project risk monitoring, quality and continuous improvement, BI and KPI coordination with finance and business units between Making Science.

What we’d like you to do

• Develop and manage data transformation, processing and loading processes from different data sources for subsequent analysis (BigQuery) and visualization with Looker Studio and Tableau
• Document the infrastructure and processes that are implemented to obtain data from different corporate tools (SAP, Atlassian, SuccessFactors, Google Workspace...)
• Manage incidents related to business data.
• Analyze requirements of the different areas and departments of the company.
• Report writing and dashboards in Tableau and Looker Studio.

What we’d like you to bring

• You have previous experience in SQL (minimum 6 months).
• You have previous experience in database administration (minimum 6 months).
• You have certain experience in dashboards and reports creation.
• You have the ability to analyze the requirements of the different areas and departments of a company.
• You have a B2 level of English, both spoken and written.
• You have the ability to work methodically and be a responsible person with organizational skills.
