Soho House & Co Barcelona is seeking a Bartender to deliver warm, friendly service and maintain the highest standards of drinks service for our members and guests. You will know classic cocktails, work quickly in a high-profile venue, and collaborate with the team to create memorable experiences while upholding allergy safety and SOPs.

Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred, and loyalty to hospitality excellence is essential.

Formación

• 2 years of experience in a high-profile venue.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails.
• Experience preparing cocktails in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Providing warm, friendly and efficient service according to our steps of service.
• Following our allergy procedures to ensure safety of members, guests and team.
• Possessing a strong understanding of drink menus to make recommendations and fulfill requests.
• Efficiently making all drinks to specifications and timings.
• Adhering to standard operating procedures and processes.
• Running drinks from bar to tables when needed.
• Verifying guest ages when required.
• Reporting and resolving complaints with high hospitality standards.

Job Purpose

The place…

Located in the Gothic Quarter, opposite Port Vell, the House has a private Club for our Members with 56 rooms, a private cinema room, and our signature Cecconi's restaurant.

As a Bartender at Soho House, your role is to deliver excellent service to create memorable experiences for our members and guests.

Your main focus is to ensure our drinks service is to the highest standard.

As a team we work to go the extra mile, keeping things simple and showing collaboration, kindness and passion in everything we do.

Main Duties

• Providing warm, friendly and efficient service according to our steps of service.
• Following our full allergy procedure to ensure the safety of our members, guests and team.
• Possessing a strong understanding of drink menus in order to make recommendations, pairings and accommodate specific requests.
• Efficiently making all drink orders as per specs and timings.
• Ensuring all standard operating procedures are followed and implemented.
• Running drinks from the bar to tables when needed.
• Verifying the age of guests when needed.
• Reporting and resolving any complaints and handling all interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.

Requirements

A successful Bartender for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You will have strong knowledge of classic cocktails and have experience preparing cocktails and serving in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
