Brunswick is seeking a Dock Assistant at the Barcelona FBC site to ensure smooth day-to-day dock operations and high-quality member experiences. You will help maintain boats to company standards, provide clear dock guidance, and support events and training sessions as needed.

Ideal candidates bring fluency in Spanish, intermediate English, a valid B license, and a strong service mindset. This is a hands-on role requiring outdoor work and a safety-first attitude.

Formación

  • Fluent Spanish is required; intermediate English (B2) spoken is necessary.
  • Valid driving license (B) is required for dock access and vehicle use.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and maintain safety.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work in a team.

Responsabilidades

  • Maintain the club fleet in good condition and report incidents promptly.
  • Clean, inspect, and perform basic maintenance of boats and tools.
  • Assist members with boating activities and provide a service-oriented experience.
  • Support events and training sessions as needed at the dock.
  • Document tasks, incidents, and operations accurately using company systems.
  • Support broader club operations as requested by management.

Job Title: Dock Assistant Reporting to: Dock Experience Manager / Operations Manager Location: FBC Barcelona Purpose: Ensure the efficient day-to-day dock operations and optimal fleet condition by maintaining boats to company standards and delivering a safe, high-quality, service-oriented experience for members, in line with Freedom Boat Club brand expectations.

Accountabilities
  1. Ensure the club's fleet is maintained in optimal condition, identifying, reporting, and supporting the resolution of incidents or damages in a timely manner.
  2. Perform proper cleaning, routine maintenance, and basic inspections of boats and assigned company tools in accordance with company standards and safety procedures.
  3. Support members before, during, and after their boating activities, providing clear instructions, assistance at the dock, and a professional, service-oriented experience.
  4. Assist with and support club activities and events, including boating training sessions, member events, boat shows, and promotional or trade fairs when required.
  5. Accurately report completed tasks, incidents, and operational activities using the systems and processes defined by management.
  6. Carry out additional operational duties as requested by the Dock Experience Manager or Fleet Manager to support overall club operations.

  • Member satisfaction and quality of service delivery.
  • Fleet condition, availability, and cleanliness standards.
  • Compliance with operational, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Accuracy, quality, and timeliness of operational reporting.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Spanish: Fluent.
  • English: Intermediate spoken level (B2).
  • Valid driving license (B).
  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
  • Teamwork mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Eagerness to learn and interest in recreational boating.
  • Attention to detail and strong awareness of safety and operational standards.
