About the Role

As Marosa's Backoffice IT Operations Lead (part of Wolters Kluwer’s Corporate Tax portfolio under the CP&ESG division), you’ll take full ownership of our internal IT: the systems, laptops, and software our team relies on every day to get work done.

This is a practical, hands-on role focused on running our internal helpdesk, managing our Microsoft 365 environment, maintaining office equipment, and handling vendor contracts. You will serve as the first point of contact for employee IT support across the company, keeping our tools running smoothly day to day while serving as the operational bridge to align our internal tech setup with Wolters Kluwer’s standards as we grow.

Responsibilities
IT Operations & Service Desk
  • Manage day-to-day IT operations across the company: employee laptop setup, technical troubleshooting, software configuration, local office connectivity in Vigo, Spain, and internal systems.
  • Own the helpdesk function, troubleshooting and resolving employee IT issues for both local and remote staff within defined SLAs.
  • Manage new user provisioning and offboarding: automated account lifecycles, role-based access control (RBAC), device assignment, and hardware asset recovery.
  • Track IT asset lifecycle management, hardware inventory, and end-user device compliance aligned with local operational needs and WK GBS IT standards.
Microsoft & Systems Management
  • Administer our Microsoft 365 tenant, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Manage endpoint security, conditional access policies, and patch management through Microsoft Intune.
  • Oversee internal business systems (ERP/CRM), controlling user access rights, vendor escalation, and operational uptime.
  • Support the transition and alignment of internal tools, directory services, single sign-on (SSO), and ticketing workflows toward WK GBS enterprise standards.
Vendor, Security & Compliance
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers (hardware suppliers, software licensing, local ISP/telecom).
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and renewals for local IT services, maintaining alignment with corporate procurement guidelines.
  • Enforce baseline security controls including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), endpoint protection, disk encryption, and data backup/disaster recovery processes.
Qualifications

  • Track record of managing local IT vendors, procurement, asset tracking, and software license administration.
  • Languages: Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) to support our Vigo-based team and interface with global WK stakeholders.

  • Experience in a scaling SaaS or tech startup environment in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with enterprise compliance and security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR controls).
