LeoVegas Group is seeking a Backend Engineer to help shape our Sportsbook backend in Málaga. You will collaborate with senior engineers, validate architecture decisions, and contribute to planning and feature development, driving scalable, secure services.

With 4+ years in Java and Spring Boot, you will implement microservices, containers, and event-driven patterns while ensuring observability and production readiness in a fast-paced, agile setting.

Formación

• 4+ Years of software development experience with Java, Spring Boot and Event-Driven Architectures.
• Experience designing Microservices, K8s and Containerization (Docker) and Kafka messaging systems.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and caching.
• Implementing resilience patterns (e.g., retries, circuit breakers, graceful degradation).
• Designing and maintaining monitoring dashboards (e.g., metrics, logs, traces) and alerts to proactively detect issues.
• Hands-on experience developing highly scalable RESTful end-to-end Microservices.

Responsabilidades

• Taking ownership, problem-solving and collaborating with other teams.
• Designing and implementing from idea to production.
• Building for scale, availability, performance and security across the stack.
• Working with product managers, architects, QA engineers and other developers in a highly collaborative agile environment.
• Integrating new products and building internal services to support our ecosystem.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring team members.
• Ensuring services are production-ready, observable, and maintainable through monitoring, alerting, and on-call participation.
