N26 is seeking a Backend Engineer in Barcelona to build and scale fintech software, collaborating with product and engineering to deliver reliable services from idea to production.

You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain production services using JVM languages (Kotlin), Spring Boot, and microservice architectures on AWS with PostgreSQL. You value security and well-tested, well-documented code.

Formación

• Experience with JVM languages and Spring Boot in large-scale systems.
• Strong understanding of microservice architectures.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

Responsabilidades

• Manage individual project priorities within a collaborative team.

In this role, you will build and maintain software in a dynamic fintech environment, contributing to the Incentives team within the Grow & Engage domain. You will collaborate across the product and engineering teams to deliver features that enhance customer experience from signup to premium membership. You’ll work with modern cloud and microservice architectures to solve scalable problems, stay current with tech trends, and contribute during Get Stuff Done Days. This is an opportunity to shape the technology behind a fast-growing digital bank.
