UST España & Latam is seeking an experienced Application Operations Manager to join a strategic international project in banking and wealth management. The ideal candidate will lead cloud migration, application operations, and DevOps initiatives, focusing on Azure, CI/CD, and platform reliability.

You will collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable services that meet SLAs.

Formación

• Strong background in cloud migration, application operations, DevOps, and Azure technologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• Strong knowledge of Git version control and Agile environments.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Own and manage IT services end-to-end, ensuring SLAs and understanding service dependencies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Operations, Support, Maintenance, and service lifecycle activities.
• Drive application re-platforming and migration initiatives towards Azure Cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with security controls and secure-by-design principles.
• Collaborate with development teams to promote DevOps culture and best practices.
• Enable CI/CD automation and cloud-native development approaches.
• Improve developer experience through documentation, templates, standards, and training materials.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on platform adoption, automation, and efficiency.
• Participate in agile projects with technical and business analysis.
• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and core services.
• Proven experience leading or supporting migrations and cloud transformation.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices.
