UST is seeking an experienced Application Operations Manager to join a strategic international project in the banking and wealth management sector. The role focuses on cloud migration initiatives, application operations, and Azure technologies, working with development and infrastructure teams to ensure service reliability and scalability.

The position is hybrid in Madrid, offering 3 days on-site and 2 days remote, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD, observability, and security controls.

Formación

• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and its core services.
• Proven experience leading or supporting application migrations and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm.
• Knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK Stack or Splunk.
• Strong knowledge of Git version control.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Own and manage IT services end-to-end ensuring compliance with defined SLAs and understanding service dependencies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Operations Support Maintenance and service lifecycle-related activities.
• Drive application re-platforming and migration initiatives towards Azure Cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards security controls and secure-by-design principles.
• Collaborate closely with development teams promoting DevOps culture and best practices.
• Enable CI/CD automation and cloud-native development approaches.
• Improve developer experience through documentation templates standards and training materials.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on platform adoption automation and operational efficiency.
• Participate in agile projects providing technical and business analysis expertise.
