Jobgether seeks an Automation Tester for a partner project in Spain to ensure quality, reliability, and security of IRS code modernization efforts. The role blends manual and automated testing, API and backend validation, and CI/CD integration in a remote setting.

You will translate requirements into test plans, write automation scripts with Selenium or Cypress, and work with developers and stakeholders to improve testing coverage and overall software quality.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Active IRS MBI clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; additional relevant experience may be required in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated experience writing and executing software test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Familiarity with manual testing, regression testing, acceptance testing, and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience with backend testing, APIs, and databases; SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and the broader software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Good time management, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Experience with accessibility, performance, or security testing is a plus.

As an Automation Tester, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and security of software supporting an IRS code modernization initiative.
You will translate project requirements into detailed test plans, test cases, and automated testing workflows.
The role combines manual and automated testing, defect management, regression testing, and acceptance testing across the software lifecycle.
You will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify issues, validate fixes, and maintain high quality standards.
