Alten Delivery Centre Spain is seeking a QA Tester automation to join a highly skilled international team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, ensuring quality across web applications and APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

The candidate will work with Selenium and Playwright, perform REST API testing, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Formación

• 2–4 years of IT/software testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with web testing tools (Selenium, Playwright).
• Understanding REST APIs, XML, JSON formats.
• API testing with REST and SOAP using tools (Postman, Bruno, RestAssured).
• GitLab or similar version control tools.
• Docker for containerized environments.
• Databases and SQL knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git pipeline, or GitHub Actions).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP or AWS).
• Knowledge of TLS, asymmetric cryptography, and OAuth2.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks to improve operational stability and efficiency.
• Support and evolve the architecture of the test automation framework.
• Contribute to the development of end-to-end test automation.
• Define QA structures of our products in the earliest development phase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze application and framework issues.
• Create detailed bug reports and improvement requests, including clear defects/change descriptions and priority classifications.
• Stay adaptable and learn new tools and technologies aligned with organizational needs.
• Advocate quality-first principles within and across squads.
• Integrate test automation solutions with DevOps tools for seamless delivery.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience: Min 2-4 years of professional experience in IT and software testing.
• Solid understanding of software development and testing processes.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Prior experience with web-based testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
• Understanding REST APIs, XML, and JSON formats.
• API testing experience with REST and SOAP services with tools (e.g. Postman, Bruno, RestAssured)
• Working knowledge of GitLab or similar version control tools.
• Experience with Docker for containerized environments.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Git pipeline or GitHub Actions)(nice to have).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP or AWS is a plus).
• Knowledge of message security (asymmetric cryptography, TLS, OAuth2).
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
