Sandvik Mining, part of Sandvik Group, is seeking an Automation Systems Specialist to provide on-site and remote support for Digital Automation solutions including AutoMine and Newtrax. You will install, commission, validate and optimize automation systems to boost safety and productivity.

The role requires hands-on technical work, strong networking knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with customers and internal teams across the global support network.

Formación

• Strong technical background.
• Experience with automation systems, ideally Sandvik Automation products.
• Knowledge of networking and network protocols.
• Good computer skills and reporting capabilities.
• Experience in mining or heavy equipment environments would be a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive mindset, customer focus and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Installation, commissioning, validation and optimization of new automation systems.
• Customer training, both classroom‑based and on‑the‑job.
• Participation in customer operational meetings and scoping workshops.
• Troubleshooting, fault finding and support for installed systems.
• Remote and on‑site technical support.
• Production optimization activities.
• Technical support for sales initiatives.
• Collaboration with customers, internal teams and global technical support.
