Diamond Foundry in Zaragoza, Spain seeks an Automation Engineer to design, implement and commission automation systems for gas-engineering projects. You will work on robotics, machine vision and advanced factory technologies to improve safety, reliability and productivity across manufacturing lines.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams, documenting control narratives and procedures while supporting scalable, zero-emission manufacturing growth.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Mechatronic, Computer or closely related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or integration and commissioning of industrial equipment.
• Experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, industrial networks, field instrumentation and protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA; ABB/KUKA robot experience is desirable.
• Fluent Spanish and English with strong communication and commissioning skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, program, integrate and commission automation and control systems for gas-engineering projects from design through handover.
• Develop and implement automation solutions for manufacturing lines including robotics and machine vision.
• Troubleshoot, optimize and upgrade equipment to improve safety, reliability and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate needs into robust solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and train end users as required.
