Tata Consultancy Services in Barcelona is seeking a Senior SDET to lead automation efforts across UI and API testing. You will design and implement scalable automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD, and guide teams on modern QA practices.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in SDET/QA and automation

Are you a Senior SDET in Barcelona seeking a new interesting challenge?

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks:

• Define and implement automation and Quality Engineering strategies aligned with engineering standards and the automation roadmap.
• Identify automation opportunities, maximize test coverage, and drive shift-left testing across the software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, microservices, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and faster software releases.
• Lead performance, scalability, resilience, and reliability testing initiatives.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, identify risks and quality trends, and provide meaningful quality metrics and reporting.
• Create automation standards, documentation, and best-practice guidelines while mentoring teams on modern testing and Quality Engineering principles.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Delivery Managers to provide testing strategy and quality assurance leadership.

Years' experience: 10+ years

Strong experience in UI and API test automation.

Expertise building automation frameworks from scratch.

Experience working with microservices, distributed systems, cloud-native testing, and Agile/Scrum environments.

Workplace: Hybrid

Work Schedule: 09:00-18:00 (including 1 hour lunch break)
