Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe is seeking a skilled DevOps/Automation Engineer to advance their HIS initiative in Madrid. The role focuses on building a Python-based automation framework, containerized environments, and CI/CD pipelines to support multisystem architectures.

You will collaborate with internal customers, uphold architecture standards, and promote automated testing and quality. Fluent English is required; Spanish location at Getafe preferred.

Formación

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with experience in software architecture and DevOps.
• 3+ years of software development and architecture experience, preferably in automation or tooling.
• Advanced Python programming, including design patterns and OO principles.
• Strong Bash/PowerShell scripting for automation and integration.
• Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Understanding of software architecture patterns, API design, and versioning.
• Commitment to code quality, testing and maintainability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain a robust Python-based automation framework.
• Lead end-to-end automation lifecycle from requirements to release.
• Define software design principles and architectural patterns.
• Develop production-grade Python code and shell scripts for automation.
• Design and maintain Docker-based build environments and Jenkins pipelines.
• Promote automated testing and CI practices.
• Collaborate with internal customers and DevOps teams.
• Document tools, architectures and deployment procedures.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance the automation ecosystem.
