Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a Software Architect for Tools & Automation to design and maintain a Python-based automation framework used across multiple programs. You will lead end-to-end automation lifecycles, enforce architectural patterns, and collaborate with DevOps teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

The role requires advanced Python, expertise in Docker and CI/CD (Jenkins), and strong communication skills.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in software development and architecture, mainly in automation or tooling domains.
• Advanced Python programming with design patterns and modular architectures.
• Strong Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell) for automation, CI/CD familiarity.
• Experience with Docker, containerized environments, and Jenkins CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain a Python-based automation framework used across programs and environments.
• Lead end-to-end automation lifecycle from requirements to release to customer.
• Define software architecture principles and ensure code quality through testing.
• Collaborate with internal customers and DevOps teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Document architecture decisions, API contracts, and deployment procedures.
