Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe/ Madrid region seeks a collaborative DevOps professional to design and maintain on-premise Kubernetes clusters within a highly secure environment. You will work across Linux and Windows, deploying containers, configuring networks, and automating infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform.

The role emphasizes strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, secure operations in air-gapped settings, and proactive monitoring using Python and Bash.

Formación

• Degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent practical experience in a DevOps/Systems environment.
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters, including cluster management and networking.
• Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows administration.
• Familiarity with network protocols and managing secure connections or firewalls.
• Comfortable working in secure, air-gapped environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Full professional proficiency in English. Knowledge of German and/or French would be an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain secure on-premise Kubernetes clusters and manage deployments, services and networking with Docker and Linux containers.
• Apply IaC practices using Ansible for configuration and Terraform for provisioning to automate infrastructure.
• Manage code and configurations within local repositories and air-gapped environments, ensuring dependencies are handled securely.
• Perform systems administration across Linux and Windows environments, troubleshooting and tuning performance.
• Configure secure network connections and manage virtualised storage to ensure data integrity.
• Set up centralised logging, monitoring, and automation using Python and Bash to improve efficiency.
