Job summary

Autoliv is seeking an Automation and PLC Engineer to oversee manufacturing automation, PLC/HMI and robotics projects in our Valencia region. You will work to optimize processes, improve productivity, quality and machine safety while driving digitalization and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes developing automation solutions, leading projects, and supporting audits and roadmaps. Occasional travel is expected as part of the international team.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial automation and PLC systems.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• English proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Supports development, optimization and standardization of manufacturing processes through automation technologies.
• Improve productivity, quality, reliability, machine safety and digitalization while collaborating cross-functionally.
• Improve OEE, reduce downtime and scrap, execute automation projects and maintain standards.
• Develop PLC/HMI/robotics systems, lead projects, troubleshoot automation, implement Industry 4.0 and safety improvements.
• Support audits, standardization, benchmarking and technology roadmaps.
