Job summary

Autoliv Spain seeks an Automation and PLC Engineer to oversee manufacturing automation initiatives. You will contribute to process development, optimization, and standardization, aiming to boost productivity, quality, and machine safety across cross-functional teams.

The role involves developing PLC/HMI/robotics systems, leading projects, troubleshooting automation, and implementing Industry 4.0 and safety improvements. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with PLC/automation systems.
• Ability to lead automation projects cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

• Supports development, optimization and standardization of manufacturing processes through automation technologies.
• Improve productivity, quality, reliability, machine safety and digitalization while collaborating cross-functionally.
• Improve OEE, reduce downtime and scrap, execute automation projects and maintain standards.
• Develop PLC/HMI/robotics systems, lead projects, troubleshoot automation, implement Industry 4.0 and safety improvements.
• Support audits, standardization, benchmarking and technology roadmaps.

Certifications/Accreditations
