Job summary

3Commas is hiring a Trader to join the QuantPilot product team as a full-time, hands-on role. You will develop and stress-test automated trading strategies across crypto (perps and spot), futures, stocks, FX and more, collaborating closely with engineers and designers to push the platform further.

You trade systematically, you automate, and you can explain your edge and the market conditions it targets. This is not advisory work, but a deeply technical trading role that emphasizes robust

Qualifications

Experience building automated trading strategies and backtesting across markets.
Ability to analyze performance data and refine edge conditions.
Demonstrated risk management within automated systems.

Responsibilities

Research and build automated trading strategies across crypto, futures, stocks, FX, and more.
Backtest strategies across multiple timeframes and market conditions to identify robust edges.
Optimize parameters, risk rules, position sizing and entry/exit logic.
Analyze live and historical performance to understand why strategies win or lose.
Stress-test strategies against drawdowns, volatility spikes and low liquidity.
Collaborate daily with product and engineering to improve the QuantPilot platform.
