Job summary

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is recruiting for an Associate Transaction Processing & Digital Transformation Officer in Luxembourg, reporting to the Head of Unit. The role blends financial operations with data and technology to support automated, scalable back-office processes.

Based at the Luxembourg headquarters with regular office presence, the role focuses on data-driven processing, automation, AI and emerging tech such as DLT, while collaborating with Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT and

Qualifications

• Bachelor-equivalent degree in Finance, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Treasury/Derivatives or back office.
• Strong analytical mindset and data skills (Python/SQL; Power BI a plus).
• Knowledge of SWIFT and settlement processes.
• English and French proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end Borrowings, Treasury and Derivatives transactions.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance and risk.
• Identify and implement automation, AI and RPA initiatives.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT and Data teams.
