IE University’s Business School is seeking an Associate Director, Undergraduate Programs to lead day-to-day operations of the BBA and related programs in Madrid. You will supervise Program Coordinators and Assistants, coordinate with faculty and departments, and ensure a world-class student experience across IE Business School’s undergraduate offerings.

  • Master's degree and Bachelor's degree required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and oral).

Responsabilidades

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to boost operations and student satisfaction.
  • Manage and execute projects to improve operations and student experience.
  • Design mechanisms to reduce bottlenecks and improve internal communication.

Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University'sBusiness school is looking for an Associate Director, Undergraduate Programs – Business School to join its team!

The Associate Directors are responsible for the delivery and day-to-day management of the program. This comprises coordinating tasks among various team members; overseeing the implementation of guidelines and policies; monitoring logistics and operations; supporting faculty members; and overall responsibility for student services – including the direct services by the Program Management and Program Experience team and coordination with various departments to ensure a world-class experience for students in all Undergraduate Programs of IE Business School BBA, BBA-LLB, BBA-BIR, BBA-BDBA, BBA-BID, BCDM, BBSS, Global BBA.

The Associate Director will report to the Executive Director, will manage a team of Program Coordinators and Program Assistants, and will interact with Faculty, Students, different departments of IE and external agencies required for running the program.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid

Responsibilities

Your role as an Associate Director will involve:

  • Identifies areas of opportunity and present recommendations with specific focus on process improvement and student satisfaction.
  • Manages and executes entire projects or components of large projects aimed at improving operations/students' satisfaction
  • Designs program mechanisms to reduce bottlenecks, improve communication and gather feedback from a wide range of internal stakeholders
  • Proposes and implements metrics to manage performance.
  • Develops and implements program guidelines.
  • Manages the relation with key internal stakeholders
  • Standardization and best practice global sharing.
  • Manages and cultivates relationships with technology partners

Internal Development

  • Assist the Executive Director in the coordination and implementation of new curricular and extracurricular innovations
  • Supervise, coordinate and coach Program Assistants and Program Managers with professionalism and professional maturity.
  • Take responsibility for special program projects. This may include components of the program design, communications revamp projects, etc.
  • Maintain and enhance academic guides and other materials for students and faculty.
Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Bilingual, or advanced proficiency, in English and Spanish (written and oral), with substantial professional experience in both languages.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience. Experience in supervisory roles.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and high level of accountability.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in global management education, or working with business schools, is a plus.
  • Candidates must possess a valid EU work permit.
