Booksy is seeking an Associate Data Engineering Manager in Spain to lead a small team of 2–4 data engineers while staying technically hands-on.

You'll split time between helping your team grow through agile ceremonies and delivering high-quality dbt models and BigQuery pipelines that are reliable and performant.

As part of a global, remote-first organization, you’ll collaborate with international teams, scale data capabilities, and shape what’s next for our analytics platform.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on data engineering with leadership experience.
• Production‑level dbt models and data pipelines on BigQuery.
• Expert SQL skills and strong Python for orchestration.
• Experience with agile delivery and owning delivery commitments.
• Professional English (B2+) required; company language is English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a small 2‑4 person data engineering team.
• Balance time between helping your team grow through agile ceremonies and delivering high-quality dbt models and BigQuery pipelines that are reliable and performant.
• Design, build, and review dbt models and pipelines on BigQuery.
• Own quarterly OKRs and agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retros).
