The Standard Ibiza is seeking an Assistant Technical Services Manager to ensure flawless hotel operations and top-quality facilities in Ibiza. You will work closely with the Technical Services Manager to maintain all facilities, support day-to-day technical operations, and uphold safety and guest experience standards.

We want a solution‑oriented, organized professional who can blend technical expertise with operational leadership and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Formación

• Maintenance-related education or training required.
• Experience in hotel or high-standard environments preferred.
• Proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented approach.

Responsabilidades

• Manage hotel infrastructure including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and supervise work orders.
• Oversee guest rooms, public areas and restaurants to keep them in excellent condition.
• Support the manager in developing maintenance plans.
• Review equipment condition with the department manager and identify improvements.
• Handle inventory of spare parts and technical equipment.
• Assist in training and developing the technical team.

Your Mission

As Assistant Technical Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our hotel operates flawlessly. Working closely with the Technical Services Manager, you will help ensure the proper maintenance of all facilities, support the day-to-day technical operation, and guarantee that every corner of The Standard Ibiza meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and guest experience.

We are looking for a solution-oriented, organized professional with a passion for hotel maintenance, capable of combining technical expertise, operational leadership, and a genuine attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the hotel\'s physical infrastructure, including equipment, HVAC and refrigeration systems, swimming pools, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems.
• Help ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility safety standards.
• Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance work orders, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.
• Oversee guest rooms, public areas, and restaurants to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
• Support the Technical Services Manager in developing and implementing the hotel\'s preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans.
• Review the condition of equipment and facilities together with the department manager and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in the management and control of inventory materials, spare parts, and technical equipment.
• Support the management, training, and development of the technical team.

Qualifications

• Technical training in Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Previous experience in maintenance departments, preferably within hotels or other fast-paced, high-standard environments.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands under pressure.
• A proactive, hands-on, and solutions-driven approach with strong attention to detail.
• Teamwork skills and the ability to provide operational leadership.
