2K Games is seeking a Game Localization Lead for Arabic content. You will own language strategy, tone, and quality across our titles, guiding VO production and collaborating with developers, QA, marketing, and publishing teams.

This role involves mentoring linguists and aligning with global localization standards. The position emphasizes deep cultural understanding, strong English skills, and experience in game localization, with leadership responsibilities and a focus on maintaining brand

Formación

• Native fluency in Arabic with mastery of tone, grammar, and regional nuance.
• Advanced English fluency (written and spoken).
• Professional localization experience in games, tech, or entertainment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in translation or linguistics.
• Ability to work independently on complex language projects.
• Familiarity with localization tools (CAT tools, TM, XLOC, JIRA, CMS).

Responsabilidades

• Own the localization strategy, quality bar, and final sign-off for Arabic content across all 2K titles.
• Develop glossaries, style guides, and cultural content policies for the Arabic market.
• Lead VO casting, script review, and creative sessions during Arabic voiceover production.
• Review and edit localized content for tone, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide language decisions and ensure global alignment.
• Mentor junior linguists and vendors; participate in Global Loc 2.0 initiatives.
