Job summary

Axpo Group in Madrid invites you to join our international accounting team, helping to run accurate financial operations for our energy business. You will work in a collaborative environment, supporting AR/AP, invoicing, reconciliations, and dunning while upholding internal controls.

The role requires SAP expertise, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English with German at B2 level or higher. A hybrid setup in Madrid is offered with opportunities for professional growth and cross-border

Qualifications

Degree in accounting or related field.
Practical experience in accounting and financial processes.
Good SAP user knowledge and strong Excel skills.
Ideally, experience with Hyperion HFM, Tagetik, or other MS Office applications.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and self-management skills.
Fluent English skills and German at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes for Axpo Solutions AG and its branches.
Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of energy-related transactions.
Reconcile invoices and accounting data between VALTAA and SAP.
Process vendor invoices and support payment runs.
Maintain debtor master data and support efficient dunning activities.
Contribute to additional accounting tasks while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulations.
