DSM-FIRMENICH in Barcelona is seeking an accounting profile to support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting. You will assist with data extraction from ERP systems, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close under the supervision of the financial controller.

The role requires an accounting degree, 1–2 years’ international experience, SAP (BPC/BW) knowledge, and strong MS Office skills. Fluency in English and good communication are essential.

• Degree in Accounting; 1–2 years in accounting in international industrial group or Big Four; SAP, SAP BPC and BW knowledge; accurate with figures and deadlines; strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English; MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts under supervision of financial controller.
• Assist with internal controls and maintain supporting documentation.
• Extract and transform data from ERP systems into predefined Excel formats.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support to analyze financial data and identify trends & variances,
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Follow-up on Intercompany transactions
• Under the supervision of financial controller review and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• For expense reporting, collaboration with different business controllers
• For internal control, maintain financial records and support documentation
• Extract and analyze data from ERP systems and transform into predefined excel format for further analysis & account reconciliation.
• Assist & support on new customer creation
• Assist & support on of internal sales process.
• Backup of the FC&A colleague

Profile

• Degree in Accounting
• 1-2 years’ work experience in the accounting department in an International Industrial Group and / or Big Four
• Knowledge and regular practice of SAP, SAP BPC and BW
• Accurate with figures and respect deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) other European languages would be an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
