Ria Money Transfer is seeking an API Delivery Analyst in IT to bridge business needs and technology. You will translate requests into clear requirements for development teams and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.

You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, validate solutions with the Technical Lead, and ensure consistent documentation and delivery excellence within an international context.

Formación

• Experience in Business Analysis or similar roles within software environments.
• Strong understanding of APIs and system integrations (REST, services).
• Proven experience writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria in Agile/Scrum.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As an API Delivery Analyst, in IT your role will be to act as the bridge between business and technology, ensuring that incoming project requests are properly analyzed, defined, and translated into clear, actionable requirements for development teams. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, assess impacts, and drive the creation of high-quality user stories under the guidance of the Technical Lead.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the main point of contact for incoming project requests and new development needs from other departments.


• Analyze business requirements and assess the impact of proposed changes across systems, APIs, and dependent services.


• Translate business needs into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria.


• Work closely with the Technical Lead to validate solutions, understand technical constraints, and make informed decisions.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, QA) to ensure alignment and successful delivery.


• Prioritize and refine backlog items to ensure clarity, feasibility, and readiness for development.


• Identify risks, dependencies, and potential gaps in requirements early in the process.


• Support functional analysis and provide clarifications during development and testing phases.


• Ensure consistency and quality in documentation, following best practices and internal standards.


• Continuously improve analysis processes and contribute to better requirement definition and delivery efficiency.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis, or similar roles within software development environments.


• Strong understanding of APIs and system integrations (REST, services, etc.).


• Proven experience writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria (e.g., Agile/Scrum environments).


• Analytical mindset with the ability to understand both business and technical perspectives.


• Strong communication skills, with ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.


• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an international context is a plus.


• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or similar.


• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work under guidance from senior/technical profiles.
