UST in Madrid is seeking an AI Engineer with a strong software engineering and DevOps/MLOps background to join an innovative project for a leading global wealth management client.

Hybrid in Madrid city center (Sol area), 3 days a week in the office. English is a must, Spanish desirable. You will drive AI capability delivery, automation, and scalable, secure AI solutions across enterprise platforms.

Formación

• 3-5 years of experience as a software engineer or DevOps/MLOps specialist.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
• Experience integrating ML and Generative AI components into production systems.
• Security-conscious with enterprise standards for tooling and data protection.
• Comfortable in agile, cross-functional teams with strong collaboration skills.
• Master or Bachelor in Computer Science or related field, or proven relevant experience.
• Very good English level.

Responsabilidades

• Own AI capabilities integration into the software delivery toolchain with secure, scalable automation.
• Collaborate with AI Product Engineers and platform teams to scope AI-driven opportunities.
• Prototype and validate LLM-based or RAG pipelines to drive business value.
• Contribute to AI-driven automation across developer productivity platforms.
• Develop and maintain APIs, pipelines and service integrations for AI features.
• Ensure traceability, logging and compliance of integrated solutions.
• Promote best practices for automation, monitoring and reproducibility.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an AI Engineer with a strong software engineering and DevOps/MLOps background to join an innovative project for a leading global wealth management client. The ideal candidate will be passionate about integrating AI capabilities into enterprise platforms, driving automation, and building scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions within a highly collaborative environment.

Location

Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.

Language

English is a must. Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering and integration layer of AI capabilities into the software delivery toolchain, ensuring secure, scalable, and maintainable delivery of AI solutions through automation and collaboration with platform teams.
• Collaborate closely with AI Product Engineers and platform teams to define and scope opportunities for AI-driven innovation.
• Prototype and validate Large Language Model (LLM)-based or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to drive business value.
• Contribute to AI-driven automation efforts across developer productivity platforms, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain APIs, pipelines, and service integrations for AI features within existing platforms, such as Corporate Identity (CI)/Corporate Design (CD), observability, and developer workplace.
• Ensure traceability, logging, and compliance of integrated solutions, adhering to enterprise standards and security best practices.
• Drive best practices for automation, monitoring, and reproducibility, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

YOUR PROFILE

• 3-5 years of experience as a software engineer or DevOps/MLOps specialist, with a strong background in AI integration and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Corporate Identity (CI)/Corporate Design (CD) pipelines, cloud environments, containerization (Docker/K8s), and APIs.
• Experience integrating Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI components into production systems, with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Security-aware and familiar with enterprise standards for tooling, ensuring the highest levels of data protection and compliance.
• Comfortable working in agile and cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Master or Bachelor in Computer Science or a related area, or proven relevant working experience.
• Very good English level.
