HP is seeking a growth-minded AI and Automation Intern to join the Partner AI Automation team in Barcelona. The role focuses on researching AI/automation solutions, designing MVPs, and delivering scalable, measurable business value for HP and partners.

You will work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, design practical analytics solutions, and drive digitalization initiatives, with an emphasis on continuous learning and collaboration.

• Available to start February 2027 and stay through June–July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Research AI, automation, data, and tech solutions; deliver MVPs and validation.
• Identify repetitive manual work and develop automation solutions for efficiency.
• Collaborate with SMEs, developers, data analysts, and stakeholders to deliver analytics and digitalization solutions.

AI & Automation Intern Description - Before applying please note that, to be eligible for this position, you must be currently enrolled at a university in Spain, remain enrolled until the end of the internship, and be eligible to sign an internship agreement with your university. You must also be available to start the internship in February 2027and continue participating in the program untilJune–July 2027.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Research, Design & AI Initiative Delivery: Research and evaluate available AI, automation, data, and technology solutions to identify the best fit for each business challenge. Drive selected initiatives from requirements and solution design through MVP, validation, implementation, and continuous improvement, collaborating with SMEs, developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions and measurable business value.

Process Automation: Identify repetitive manual work and help develop automation solutions that increase efficiency, data accuracy, and scalability.

Team Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across functions to understand their needs and turn requirements into practical analytics and digitalization solutions.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Engineering, Maths or a similar area.
