Zurich Insurance Group in Barcelona's Technology Delivery Center (TDC) is seeking an AI Analyst Intern to support Cytora AI platform adoption across underwriting and portfolio management. You will work with underwriting, data, and technology teams on AI-driven processes and data governance within a multinational insurance environment.

About the Role

At Zurich Commercial Insurance, we are transforming the way we underwrite risk through the power of data and artificial intelligence. We are looking for an AI Analyst Intern to join our multinational team and support the adoption of Cytora’s AI platform across underwriting and portfolio management processes.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data analytics, insurance, and digital transformation. You will work alongside experienced professionals from underwriting, data, and technology teams while learning how AI solutions are applied in a global insurance business.

As an AI Analyst Intern your responsibilities will include:

AI & Platform Support

• Assist the team in maintaining and monitoring Cytora platform configurations.
• Support testing activities related to new platform functionalities and enhancements.
• Help document platform processes, configuration changes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure smooth platform operations.

Business & Requirements Analysis

• Support the gathering and documentation of business requirements from underwriting and operations teams.
• Assist in reviewing and validating data requirements for AI-driven processes.
• Contribute to updating data schemas and business documentation.
• Participate in implementation and enhancement projects related to the Cytora platform.

Data & Performance Monitoring

• Assist in monitoring data quality and platform performance metrics.
• Support analysis of AI-generated outputs and help identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, or presentations to communicate findings and progress.
• Contribute to initiatives focused on Responsible AI and data governance practices.
• Work closely with underwriting, data, and IT teams to understand business processes and AI use cases.
• Participate in team meetings, workshops, and learning sessions.
• Support the creation of training materials, user guides, and knowledge-sharing documentation.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve processes and enhance user adoption of AI solutions.

What Makes You a great Fit?

• Active student status with a Spanish University/School is mandatory.
• Passionate about a tech career.
• Available for at least a 6-month part-time/internship program.
• Tech-savvy with a curious mind.
• Enthusiastic, capable, and eager to learn.
• A good team player with a responsible, can-do attitude.
• Fluency in english
• Basic knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, or Python through academic projects.
• Interest in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Experience from university projects, internships, or personal initiatives related to analytics, AI, or process improvement.
• Knowledge of additional languages.
