Job summary

indigo.ai in Madrid is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to design agentic architectures, shape AI agents and take them live with enterprise clients in Spain.

You will partner with our Chief AI Officer, translate business goals into agent behavior, and ensure reliability while managing multi-stakeholder projects across products, DevOps, and success teams. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with growth into delivery leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and running virtual assistants or AI products.
• Native Spanish and very good English.
• Solid understanding of APIs and integrations.
• Enough Python to read code and inspect what you need.
• Structured problem solving and autonomy on enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

• Design the agentic architecture: frame problems and decide tools and flows.
• Control hallucinations by setting boundaries for retrieval and answer generation.
• Translate business goals into precise agent behaviors and flows.
• Design tone, messages and channel adaptation for user experience.
• Build with AI using Claude Code to validate tool outputs.
