Job summary

GMV is expanding its Defence and Security teams in Madrid to tackle aerospace R&D projects, developing robust navigation solutions and embedded systems for demanding applications. You will lead the development, productisation and architectural definition of embedded solutions, coordinating hardware, FPGA, embedded software and systems engineering across teams to deliver robust, product-ready capabilities.

We seek professionals with 4+ years in aerospace, strong knowledge of real-time software

Qualifications

• For this position, 4+ years in aerospace or avionics is required.
• Expertise in embedded systems and aerospace product development is essential.
• Strong knowledge of real-time software and C/C++, FPGA, hardware/software integration.
• Prior navigation system experience (GNSS, inertial or hybrid) is valued.
• Leadership and coordination skills for cross-disciplinary teams are expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and productisation of embedded solutions for Defence aerospace programmes.
• Define requirements, architectures and interfaces; coordinate HW, FPGA, embedded software and systems teams.
• Design and troubleshoot real-time software, state machines and timing-related functions.
• oversee integration, verification and testing activities to ensure robust product readiness.
