Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona is seeking an Aeroelastic Simulation Engineer to lead wind turbine aeroelastic analyses, build models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and reduce LCOE.

You will apply tools such as Bladed, HAWC2, Simpack, and SDM, work with engineering teams across disciplines, and ensure alignment with IEC guidelines while delivering robust load assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Practical exposure to wind industry and aeroelastic loads simulations.
• Knowledge of integration between SVO team and System Simulations.

Responsibilities

• Execute aeroelastic loads analyses for new products and fleet support.
• Prepare inputs and aeroelastic models; run loads analyses and post-process.
• Perform operability checks and frequency domain stability checks.
• Update loads envelopes and hand off models to MLA team for site assessments.
• Deliver loads mitigation and performance improvements.
